DISCLAIMER:
-This is a REMIXED/REMASTERED RELEASE of the album "EPIRUSIKARUS AND THE EVIL OFFSPRING". Some tracks had been re-recorded; others had been enhanced. I also changed the cover a bit, to a more distinctive dark issue and inserted new font.
-As years went by, I felt the need to revisit and process yet again my first two solo albums. This need came alongside with losing hearing on my left ear, so eventually my perception of sound had changed; all older imperfections started sounding annoying at one point. So I polished them again, anew, emphasising on the song, rather than the production. It also happened that my own mixing techniques had evolved, so i wanted to preserve the history behind these two productions, but in a more efficient way. These songs and their initial production are now 6 years old. It's a very interesting testament for me, and I believe for you, my friends and followers. I changed the cover to a new, darker version, as well as tampered with the fonts a bit, so as to point out the different release.

ABOUT THE ALBUM:
This album is actually a merge of two different yet complementary EPs; one that was titled "EpirusIkarus" and the other "Tales of Inner and Outer Beauty". Songs on both the former EPs describe a kind of fight towards the light, yet "Tales..." was a much more darker album.
In this concept, two different worlds are combined, through a mimic of the ancient Greek myth of Daedalus and Ikarus as a carrier to another myth: the taking of Persephone, daughter of goddess Demetra from the king god of the underworld, Pluto (expl.: his kingdom was the dark underground resting place called Hades).
In addition, it is a homage to my ancestry; I am half from Epirus in North-Western Greece, and my other half relates to the Greek population of Smyrna (modern day Izmir, Turkey). These two songs reflect the Greek highland's sounds and atmosphere on one hand; on the other hand, the oriental scent, melodies and feelings of the Asia Minor. In addition to these, there's a lot to discover; it's a concept of a series of actions, reactions, and the following consequences.
